Basic principles

Website firetrade.hu is operated by FIRE TRADE Kft. (hereinafter referred to as Data Controller). The website’s services may be used by the User on a voluntary basis, so the necessary data are handled based on voluntary data disclosure. The Data Controller shall handle the personal data disclosed confidentially and shall take all technical and organizational measures to avoid access by unauthorized persons to the data handled.

Purpose of processing and the data sets stored

Information logged by our servers automatically

Our servers automatically log our users’ IP address, the type of the operating system and browsing program they use, and some other information. All the information registered is used in a summarized and processed form, exclusively in order to correct potential errors in our services, to improve quality and for statistical purposes.

Use of cookies

Some of our services may place individual identification files, a "cookies", in the computers of our website users. Cookies consist in a set of information sent by the web server with variable content and stored on the user’s computer providing an opportunity to query certain data. Cookies only serve to facilitate authentication of website users (e.g. login, shopping cart, goods, products viewed). Due to technologic reasons, contents subject to registration may only be viewed using computers capable to receive cookies. A cookie will expire when you close your browser. A user may remove his own cookies by the browsing program used at any time.

Data sets stored

During the ordering process: name, e-mail address, telephone number, transport and invoicing data (name, address, VAT No. for companies), the items ordered. Such data are required for customer contact purposes and for fulfilling orders.

 

Grounds for data handling

The website’s services are used by the User on a voluntary basis. The data requested are subject to the data subject’s voluntary consent.

Rights to access, correction and removal

The User may request information about his personal data handled at any time. The Data Controller shall provide information, at the User’s request, about the data handled, the purpose, grounds and duration of data handling, the data processor’s name, address (registered office) and operations related to data handling, as well as about who and for what purpose are to receive or have received the data. The Data Controller shall provide the information in writing as soon as possible but no later than within 30 days of the date when the request was submitted. The request shall be sent to the Data Controller’s e-mail address used for customer service.

You may initiate removal or correction of the data at any time using the functions serving for this purpose (e.g. removal of registration, unsubscription from newsletters, data modification) or you may write your such request by e-mail to the address of our customer service.

The data stored and not used by the customer (e.g. those indicated for login) that are not required for customer contact purposes and/or administration of guarantees or warranties shall be removed after lapse of maximum 3 years.

Should the User’s right for protection of personal data be infringed, he may bring an action against the Data Controller.

Investigation of the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information

Pursuant to Section 27 of the Data Protection Act (’Avtv.’), any person shall have the right to notify the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information if his or her personal rights have, in his or her opinion, been infringed during data handling, or there is imminent danger of such infringement, unless court proceedings are in progress concerning the case in question. Having submitted a notification to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information may not entail any discrimination against the notifying person. The notifying person shall be entitled to the same protection as persons notifying public interest data.
